How We Handle Your Data

Resist Chat is a messaging app with link sharing, polls, and support tools. We use data only to run those features, keep the service secure, and respond to support requests.

• Handle, auth provider, and provider subject to identify your account.
• Email address from Apple/Google sign-in when provided by the identity provider.
• Message payloads to deliver chats.
• Links, link metadata, and poll content you create or share in the app.
• Delivery and read timestamps.
• Push notification token, app bundle, environment, and related timestamps for routing notifications.
• Block and report records, including report reason and optional details.
• Support requests and related diagnostic details you choose to send us when you contact support.
• Operational request logs needed for abuse prevention, diagnostics, and support.
• We use telemetry only for support, service diagnostics, and internal quality.

Message payloads are stored temporarily for delivery. Delivered messages are deleted after 30 days; undelivered messages after 90 days. Account data remains until you delete your account.

Device records, abuse-prevention logs, moderation reports, and diagnostics data are kept for operational and safety needs and may be retained longer when required for security, legal compliance, or active investigations.

We use third-party providers to process support submissions and related telemetry only for support operations, diagnostics, and internal quality monitoring.
